Superbly situated in 70 hectares of peaceful parkland between the Coghinas
river and the beautiful sandy beaches, the Residence Baia delle Mimose near Valledoria/Badesi is a 'Holiday Village'
composed of small groups of villas and apartments with extensive communal gardens, swimming pools and lovely mountain
views.
Baia delle Mimose is spacious single-storey 2-bedroomed villa with splendid views of the mountains, furnished with
taste and practicality. With one double bed, bunk beds and a double sofabed, it sleeps up to 6, and has a sitting
room with working fireplace and dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen (including microwave oven and clothes dryer)
and a shower room. The large terrace/garden room has a barbecue and areas for relaxing with parasol and loungers
and al fresco dining, and there is also a small private garden. Pets are allowed (subject to agreement by the owner).
The Residence has two swimming Pools, an olympic-sized pool for adults and a children's pool (open from mid June
to mid September), a tennis court, mini golf and communal parking. In the communal area of the Residence there
is a TV room with cable and satellite TV and a games room with ping-pong, pin-ball and video games. Other facilities
provided by the residence include linen hire, a communal laundry area, cleaning and babysitting services, transport
to and from the airport on request, and a bicycle storage area. There is a childrens' playground and supervised
entertainment is provided (if required) by on-site staff during the day, including ball games and archery. There
is live music and dancing every evening in the Piazzetta.
The Residence has a restaurant/pizzeria, craft shop, supermarket, boutique, tobacconist/newsagent, bars at the
pool and on the beach. There is also a free mini bus service between the residence and neighbouring villages, making
it possible to have a completely car-free holiday once you have arrived, should you wish to completely relax and
unwind. There is certainly plenty to keep the kids amused - with 3km of wide white beach, the river and large area
of forested countryside nearby, they can choose between organised beach volley ball, windsurfing, canoe/kyak, and
horse-riding. Adults are also well catered for: nature-lovers will find plenty of scope for hiking and bird-watching,
and sea bream and bass swimming close to the shore make this a paradise for the keen fisherman. Should you wish
to venture outside the Residence to explore the area and sample local cuisine, it is also ideally situated for
trips to the nearby Costa Paradiso, Costa Smeralda, Isola Rossa, Valle Luna, Stintino and Isole de la Madeleine,
to name but a few.
